Business Development Manager – London

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with an inspiring senior BD leader, supporting the continued success and growth of the London office. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team where business development is truly valued and has a real seat at the table, working alongside highly engaged stakeholders who recognise the impact of BD.
What you’ll do:
* Partner with senior stakeholders to drive client development initiatives, develop personalised BD plans and position the London office for ongoing growth.
* Collaborate on high-impact pitches, presentations, and fee proposals for new clients, ensuring the firm’s expertise is showcased to its best advantage.
* Support the creation and execution of business plans, focusing on high-value opportunities and measurable results.
* Develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns, using analytics to refine and maximise impact.
* Play a key role in media engagement, league table submissions, and thought leadership opportunities to enhance the firm’s profile.
* Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions and client targeting.
* Mentor junior team members and champion the value of BD across the office.
What we’re looking for:
* Significant experience in business development or marketing within an international law firm environment, ideally with an understanding of private capital markets.
* Proven ability to deliver results, coupled with excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and able to influence at all levels.
* Experience of managing, mentoring or coaching junior team members.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
