Main Purpose of Position: Manage and improve the Can Manufacturing Processes and related support functions for the manufacture of Aluminium Beverage Containers at the Wrexham facility. Key Responsibilities: To ensure the safe running and condition of the Wrexham site. To develop maintenance plans and techniques to improve the uptime, repeatability and reduce the cost of the can manufacturing process. To ensure that all relevant engineering standards, procedures, and key process documents are up to date. Implementation of new CMMS system in conjunction with central team. To control spend to budget and to develop targets. (to include the use of benchmarking) To assist with size changes and maintenance activities. To manage a team of direct reports. To develop a succession plan. To manage can manufacturing projects and assist with plant projects. To manage continuous improvement projects. Manage individual KPIs. Lead RCA activities to reduce plant downtimes. Manage Overhaul planning and critical spares. Professional Requirements: Qualifications: Time-serviced, HNC or equivalent Languages: English is essential (other languages a plus) Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Auto-cad Previous Job / Project Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
