We have been appointed by an NHS University Hospital based in the Midlands to help them recruit to their substantive or NHS Fixed Term Locum Consultant Geriatrician vacancy (salaried)
This NHS Trust is the regions newest purpose built acute hospital and has the regions only rooftop helipad. They are ranked in the top 20% of Acute Trusts in England for staff recommending them as a place to work and receive treatment. Vacancy Information
Our client is looking to grow their existing team of 19 Consultants by a further 3 full time equivalent as they continue their expansion in Acute Medicine and are able to consider those Consultants looking for less than full time work.
The Department is full established and includes a Geriatric Liaison service to provide in reach services throughout the Trust and specifically support to General Surgery ad their emergency laparotomy patients in line with NELA guidance. The Department is looking to expand these services in the coming year. Our client also provides specialist clinics in falls, fracture prevention, syncope and orthogeriatrics.
