You will play a pivotal role in creating cutting edge mobile applications for some of the UK’s smartest commercial buildings. Based in their Leeds development lab, you’ll be developing sophisticated mobile apps utilising Bluetooth to control lighting systems in high profile office blocks. Functionality and reliability are key when integrating with these complex building systems. They currently have two mobile apps in development. The first, a client facing app for iOS and Android (written in Swift and Java), which customers use to control and interact with the lighting systems. The other being an internal Android app used for setting up and commissioning those systems. In the future, you will be key in orchestrating the move towards a cross platform approach, using the best technologies. You will be the go to expert in this area, with the exciting opportunity to drive these projects forward. What’s expected of you?
