The Asset Management Sales Manager reports to the CEO/Executive Chairman/Board and is responsible for leading the Asset Management Sales Team.
Purpose of the Role
To develop and implement the sales strategy for the Asset Management (AM) Portfolio in consultation with the Pantek Ltd Board.
Key Accountability Outcomes
* Grow the Asset Management ARR
* Achieve Customer Experience score targets
* Expand the customer base with significant clients
* Maintain target Gross Margin
* Meet supplier goals as agreed
* Increase Asset Management product sales alongside other SolutionsPT offerings
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Formulate team sales plans based on sales and marketing strategies; adjust by analyzing trends and results.
* Set sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
* Maintain sales volume and pricing by staying current with supply and demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors, proposing product mix adjustments as needed.
* Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and market conditions.
* Support team operational requirements through scheduling, assigning, and following up on work results.
* Recruit, select, orient, and train sales staff to maintain a high-performing team.
* Manage staff performance through counseling, discipline, and performance appraisals.
* Enhance professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, building networks, and participating in societies.
* Contribute to organizational goals as an active member of the sales and management teams.
* Coordinate with marketing to generate demand for the Asset Management Portfolio.
Qualifications
Degree-level qualification or equivalent applied knowledge; B2B sales qualification or training.
Specific Knowledge & Experience
Proven sales management experience, knowledge of the industrial software market, and experience selling Asset Management Software. Familiarity with Aveva Software and working at a Software Reseller is desirable.
