Your new role (6 MONTH CONTRACT COULD BE EXTENDED)
Lead on financial control for the business to ensure the financial processes are robust and that the data posted to the Finance System is accurate and timely
Assist in the completion of the statutory accounts and annual report in time for the annual audit, oversee the annual external audit provision of evidence
by others in the team
Maintaining banking facilities
Investigation and resolution of complex historical Fixed Asset register discrepancies
Creation of new balance sheet reconciliations and determining reconciliation policies
Implementing debtor system reconciliations
Investigation and resolution of historical differences from accounting system migration
Liaise with auditors
What you'll need to succeed
Previous balance sheet reconciliations experience
Good excel skills (pivot tables and x look ups)
Fixed Asset register experience
Customer-focussed approach - building relationships with colleagues and external parties
A desire to automate and use systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively to colleagues inside and outside of the Finance Team
An ability to manage time to meet deadlines
