We are seeking a highly motivated
Psychology Graduate
to join a school as an
SEN Teaching Assistant. This role offers hands-on experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs and is ideal for aspiring educational psychologists, clinical psychologists, or future teachers.
Role Overview
SEN Teaching Assistant:
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs
Assist teachers in delivering inclusive lessons across a range of subjects
Implement strategies to support social, emotional, and academic development
Work alongside the SENCO and specialist staff to track pupil progress
Candidate Requirements
Psychology Graduate:
A
2:1 or higher in Psychology from a UK Top 20 University
Strong understanding of child development, learning, and behaviour
Empathy, patience, and resilience when supporting pupils with SEN
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
