Overview
We're looking for a Production Operator to help produce high-performance pistons used in top-end automotive and aerospace applications. This role involves working with hot materials and operating forge machinery, while carrying out quality checks and basic maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Assist with setting up and running forge operations
* Follow clear work instructions to produce forged pistons
* Handle hot materials safely and confidently
* Use tools such as die grinders, linishers, and blasting machines
* Carry out visual and measurement checks using basic inspection tools
* Clean tools and equipment thoroughly after use
* Perform regular checks and basic maintenance on machinery
* Suggest improvements to processes and tooling
* Always work with safety, quality, and efficiency in mind
* Adhere to company policies including data protection
What will aid your success?
* Comfortable reading and following technical instructions
* Familiarity with basic measuring equipment
* Understanding of safety standards, ideally in aerospace or automotive
* Good communication skills – written and verbal
* Basic computer and numerical skills
* Previous experience in a similar hands-on production or automotive role is a plus
Weekly schedule
* Week 1: Mon–Thu 06:00–14:00; Fri 06:00–13:00
* Week 2: Mon–Thu 14:00–22:00; Fri 13:00–20:00
