Engineering ownership is strong here - individuals are trusted to take features all the way from concept to production, contributing to architectural thinking and long-term platform health alongside daily delivery work.What You'll Be DoingAs a Backend Software Engineer, you'll be embedded in a collaborative engineering team focused on building reliable, scalable services. Day-to-day responsibilities include:Designing, building and maintaining backend services in a cloud environmentTaking full ownership of features from concept through to productionOptimising application performance and system reliabilityContributing to architectural decisions and system design discussionsSupporting capacity planning and ongoing service scalabilityParticipating in peer code reviews and technical knowledge-sharingCollaborating closely with engineering, DevOps and product teamsYour ImpactIn this role you'll have direct influence on the quality and resilience of systems that operate at scale. Your contributions to architecture, performance and code quality will shape the platform's long-term direction.
