Job Title: Warehouse Kitting Operative
Location: Inchinnan (Onsite)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00
Hours per Week: 37.5
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour
Annual Equivalent Salary: £25,155
Contract Duration: 18 weeks, with potential for permanent employment
Start Date: ASAP
Overtime: Optional
Interview Format: One-stage onsite interview (60 minutes)
About the Role

As a Warehouse Kitting Operative, you'll play a vital role in preparing production kits by picking and assembling materials, ensuring everything is ready for the next stage of manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
Review upcoming production batches to identify stock needs
Pick bags, fill lines, and consumables according to batch specifications
Assemble complete kits ready for production
Manage stock levels and replenish inventory
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts (small part of the role)
Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet deadlines
Support waste reduction and efficient resource use
Follow all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
GCSE Grade 3 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences
Previous experience in a warehouse or production setting is a plus
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills; ERP system experience is desirable
Good communication and a positive, can-do attitude
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Comfortable with standing, walking, and bending throughout the day
Additional Info
PPE Required: Safety boots, hi-vis vest, safety glasses (provided)
