About Forest Bridge School
Forest Bridge School is a new all-age Special Free School (ages 4-16) for children with autism, opened in September 2015 in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The school provides a supportive environment with therapeutic support and excellent teaching to help pupils with autism reach their full potential. Our goal is to prepare pupils for progression into training, employment, or further education, fostering a culture where every pupil can thrive.
We aim for Forest Bridge School to be an outstanding provision rooted in ABA, focusing on each pupil’s potential.
Partnership and Development
We believe in close partnership with all stakeholders—parents, teachers, behaviour therapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and tutors—to deliver outstanding teaching and support.
We offer exciting career opportunities for individuals eager to contribute to our journey toward Outstanding status, including a two-tier system for professional development and promotion. Senior tutors will focus on either teaching or ABA.
Opportunities include enrolling in fully or partially funded online Masters programmes, supervision hours for BCBA and BCaBA accreditation, and initial Teacher Training for suitable candidates.
