We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent, part time General Assistant - Mobile to join our team based at Blaydon Primary Care Centre, Blaydon

The role is 30 hours per week. The shift pattern is 7 days rota 4 days on and 4 days off includes late shift. Shift pattern 05:45 - 13:45 / 15:00 - 23:00, covering Blaydon Primary Care Centre, Gateshead Health Centre, Felling Health Centre, Trinity Square Health Centre, Wrekenton Health Centre.
The salary on offer is £24,169.00 per annum (Pro rata for part time hours) £12.36 per hour
A Valid UK Driving licence required
About the role:
The purpose of the Mobile General Assistant role is to deliver a variety of services to the required standard and specification.
The role will be mobile covering a geographic area but may also be required to support other properties within the locality when needed. Providing services which support our customers in enabling excellent patient care within NHS Property Service Buildings.
There remit includes:
Delivering high standards of service across all activities undertaken
Providing a high level of customer service
Promoting NHS PS values and behaviours
Maintaining professional relationships with service providers on site.
Key responsibilities:
Timely delivery of a full range of service to include but not limited to:
Open/ Close Building
Undertaking weekly tests, e.g. Fire alarm tests
Litter picking
Flushing of Little used outlets
Undertaking minor tasks as assigned via the CORE system, i.e. replacing broken fixtures and fittings
Providing Cover/support for sites where required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Experience working in a customer focused environment
Experience of following Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Systems of Work
Effective communication skills both verbally and written
Positive attitude to learning
Training will be provided on the job thorough a combination of instruction and practice or by attending training sessions.
