Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital are looking to bring on a Chef to join their established team. This is a Bank position, which means a 0-hour contract, offering a flexible working opportunity.
As a Chef, you will work in designated sections of the main kitchen, producing quality meals that are cost-effective while maintaining high hygiene standards in line with our policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high levels of food and service across all hospitality areas.
2. Support the head/senior chef in all kitchen operations and standards maintenance.
3. Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers, both internal and external.
4. Ensure all HACCP protocols are followed.
5. Ensure efficient and consistent food delivery throughout all hospitality services.
6. Foster a collaborative culture between kitchen and server staff and across departments within Spire Healthcare.
7. Lead by example to ensure consistency in food production and presentation.
Who we're looking for:
Applicants should have previous Chef/Cookery experience.
* NVQ Level 2 or higher preferred.
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Willingness to undertake specialist training if required.
* Experience in a similar establishment.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Highly organized, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours:
Monday - Sunday, with a combination of shifts.
Contract Type:
Bank (zero-hour contract).
