About the Job:
A great opportunity for a Management Accountant to support a busy and dynamic finance team. Working closely with the FD, you will help deliver key financial processes, reports, and insights to support strategic decision-making across the business.
Duties will include:
1. Preparing revenue recognition entries, including accruals and deferrals
2. Producing month-end accounts with commentary and variance analysis
3. Posting accruals and prepayments and maintaining intercompany balances
4. Producing VAT returns, EC sales lists and other compliance reporting
5. Reconciling balance sheet accounts and overseeing general ledger accuracy
6. Reporting on accounts receivable and major accounts performance
7. Delivering cash flow forecasts and maintaining visibility of funds
8. Assisting with audit preparation and improving internal controls
9. Supporting project and service-based accounting
10. Highlighting potential risks and opportunities within the P&L
11. Contributing to the development of finance processes and team capabilities
About the Successful Applicant:
You will have experience in a month-end accounting role and be part-qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience. Comfortable working with multiple currencies, you’ll also bring sound knowledge of VAT across different jurisdictions. Previous exposure to financial systems, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication are essential, alongside a proactive and detail-driven approach.
