Jointhe Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) in the role of PharmacyProfessional Engagement Lead. You will lead the charge indeveloping the RPS Regional model across Wales and the West ofEngland driving innovation in engagement approaches. Dive into theheart of the pharmacy profession connecting across sectorscountries and career stages while partnering with universities tochampion the benefits of RPS to students and educators. Be apivotal link for foundation trainees and educational providers.Your influence will extend to external campaigns spotlighting thepharmacys vital role and championing inclusivity ensuring all RPSmembers thrive. Seize the opportunity to shape policy throughengagement and networking with peers across thenation.
Requirements:
* A UKregistered pharmacist with good understanding of thevision and mission of RPS and sharedvalues.
* Ability tomotivate persuade and influence colleagues andpeers;
* Ability tocollaborate with wider internal and external teams whilst capableof high levels of selfmotivation;
* Ability to organise prioritise and plan work to deadlinescombined with the ability to display balanced initiative andforward planning within resources;
* Flexibility to adapt and react appropriately to rapidlychanging priorities;
* Evidence of having developed a new or existingservice;
* Broad experienceof pharmacy practice;
* Willingness to travelregularly
TheDirectorate
Reporting to the Headof Professional belonging and engagement you will work incollaboration and partnership with the other Pharmacy ProfessionalEngagement leads the Country teams and the RPS Ambassadors. Thethree Country Directors their respective country teams form thedirectorate. Working together to develop GBwide policy or focussingon countryspecific health policies that reflect the work plan ofthe Boards. The directorate creates an operational approach thatensures the organisations strategy is delivered and work across theorganisation with other functional directorates to do so. A keypart of this is engagement with members to ensure their views andopinions are represented in the work we do and with stakeholders tocreate strong relationships through which we can promote the workof pharmacists.
TheTeam
The engagement team will worktogether to lead the development and delivery of the RPS Regionalmodel and to lead a programme of change across regions which willensure the current approaches to RPS regional and local engagementembed and grow.
How we arecurrently working
RPS supports andworks in a hybrid way which means you will be able to work fromhome however there will be an expectation for travel into theoffice and to attend collaborative facetoface working across theregions covered by therole.
