Live-In Lifestyle / Care Assistant for a Sociology Uni Student
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a university student, who is based in Southampton studying a Sociology Degree. She is looking for a like-minded Care Assistant to provide her personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult's life.
Start: ASAP
Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off (Saturday 12PM to Saturday 12PM)
Location: Southampton Solent (term time) / Hertfordshire, WD3 (off term)
Pay: £200 per shift / £1,400 per week worked
Free accommodation whilst on shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
A Clean Automatic Driving licence is required to drive the client's adapted vehicle.
About The Job

About Our Client
Our client has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and is a full-time wheelchair user. She is currently studying Sociology at Southampton Solent University. In her spare time, she enjoys socialising and going out with her friends, attending food events, concerts, and retail therapy. She loves pop music and is a bubbly, happy person and is looking for someone with similar interests.
As written by our client: In spare time I like going partying with your friends, I love Pop music. I like eating all foods but pasta is my favourite. I would describe myself funny, caring, and energetic and I am looking to recruit a team of PAs that can support me at home and then eventually uni (Southampton).

Qualifications and Requirements
* Automatic, Clean Driving licence, 21+ years old for insurance purposes (Essential)
* Confident driver as you will be expected to drive the client's vehicle in the future
* Excellent sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously
* Physical fitness, patience, and a caring nature
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Mature and responsible attitude
* Fluent in English
* Clean and tidy appearance
