Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities, optimise operational efficiency, and lead a team towards achieving organisational goals. Duties
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all departments meet their targets and adhere to company standards.
* Lead, motivate, and manage teams across various functions, fostering a positive work environment.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
* Coordinate with other departments such as sales, finance, and logistics to ensure seamless workflow.
* Manage budgets, optimise resource allocation, and control costs effectively.
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to increase operational effectiveness.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of quality control.
* Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and clients to strengthen relationships and support organisational objectives.
Experience
* Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within operations or a related field.
* Strong understanding of business processes, supply chain management, and organisational development.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyse data critically and make informed decisions swiftly.
* Demonstrable ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience with project management tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is desirable.
* A relevant degree or professional qualification in business administration or operations management is preferred but not essential.
