The Opportunity / Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join our operations in Huntingdon. Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you will be the dedicated first point of contact for our customers, delivering a high standard of customer service in line with customer and Aliaxis expectations. You will build and balance excellent working relationships with customers and manage the sales order process from receipt to delivery.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop, manage and influence existing customer relationships, ensuring high quality service and customer satisfaction, contributing to the Company Sales budget and Plan.
* Act as the customer’s representative within the Company by managing internal relationships to maximise opportunities and meet commitments to customers.
* Conduct daily inbound/outbound customer communication via phone, email and in person (as required) to provide timely, courteous and professional responses and resolutions.
* Manage the sales order process from enquiry through to order and delivery, including order processing, progress tracking, liaison with internal/external parties, and handling administration such as complaints and credits.
* Secure sales and opportunities within the Company’s pricing policy and customer terms to contribute to the Plan and Sales Budget.
* Manage the customer concern/complaints process, including receipt, review, resolution, corrective action and preventative action.
* Promote, support and participate in Company service initiatives.
Requirements
* Customer service experience, preferably within Manufacturing or a B2B environment.
* Knowledge of Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations management.
* Clear and professional communication – both verbal and written.
* Ability to identify and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
* Ability to build internal relationships in a team environment.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to thrive under pressure, self-manage day-to-day activity and push process boundaries to achieve success.
* Ability to facilitate change and identify areas for improvement.
* Commercial ability – able to create and secure sales while maximising added value.
* Proficient MS Office skills and experience of ERP systems (ideally Dynamics AX12).
