The Company
Our client is a well-established and growing organisation within the electrical building services sector. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Pre-Contract Manager to join their London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially aware professional to play a key role in shaping and securing future projects.
The Role
As an Electrical Pre-Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing all pre-contract activities for electrical projects. This includes client engagement, tender preparation, risk assessment, and ensuring that all planning and documentation align with both business objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements.
* Prepare, review, and assess tender documentation for electrical projects.
* Define bid strategies and collaborate with supply chain partners.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
* Lead contract negotiations and client-facing meetings.
* Provide technical input on electrical building services and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Work closely with estimating teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in Electrical Building Services and MEP projects.
* Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and contract management.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or Building Services.

* Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience
* Bonus: 10% annual bonus, paid biannually based on company performance
