Your Role At Baxter
Manage a portfolio of Baxter products across the South Coast, from Southampton, Portsmouth, Crawley, Eastbourne to Rye and Tenterden. Deliver on sales and profit targets, and support NHS and private healthcare customers. This territory offers ample growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Achieve agreed sales and financial targets within the geographical/assigned area.
* Present clinical, financial, and value‑based solutions to key decision makers in the healthcare sector using an omni‑channel approach.
* Train and educate healthcare professionals on the safe, appropriate, and effective use of Baxter products to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Develop, implement, and review territory business plans aligned to national strategy, and identify local opportunities.
* Sell portfolio to improve growth opportunities and position appropriate clinical choices for customers.
* Build collaborative relationships to defend existing business base through support, service, and differentiating solutions against competition.
* Demonstrate strong selling skills and navigate a variety of customer types through the sales cycle.
* Apply sales data and market analyses to inform activity and ensure a focused return on time.
* Participate in tender management process, including pre‑tender activity, submission, and post‑tender follow‑up.
* Foster a culture of collaboration and share standard methodologies with local and national teams.
* Adapt flexibly to a constantly changing external environment and evolving internal priorities.
* Use the CRM system to support planning, sequential selling, and territory analysis.

* Strong business acuity to support growth.
* Ability to sell a wide, sophisticated product line with appropriate prospecting strategies.
* Unmatched consultative selling and closing skills.
* Proven “can do” attitude and sales knowledge to develop contacts, introduce new products, and create strategies.
* Appreciation for the sophisticated medical market and curiosity about emerging trends and initiatives in the UK.
Education and Experience
* Established record of delivering sales goals or quotas within an operating theatre environment.
* Knowledge of tendering/leasing is an advantage.
* Proven selling skills in a direct sales environment, preferably within operating theatres.
* ABPI expertise desirable.
