This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global household business that owns many well-known brands. They seek an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join their team.
The role reports to the Head of Category Management and manages key spend areas such as MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend, and Utilities. Candidates with a broad range of indirect category management experience will be considered.
Role and responsibilities:
* Develop strategies and oversee their execution, including achieving annualized savings
* Create group-wide category plans to ensure alignment across the organization, leveraging supplier relationships to support local offices
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders from Directors to Board members using strong market knowledge
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to monitor supplier performance
* Monitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and feedback
* Model procurement best practices by embodying company values and promoting procurement relationships
* Deliver strategic projects ensuring optimal service and cost efficiency
Experience and requirements:
* Experience in indirect procurement within large, complex organizations
* Preferred categories include Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics & Operations
* Procurement experience in the private sector, ideally with a global company
* Experience managing complex global projects with Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influence skills at senior levels across regions
* Strategic approach to procurement and supplier management
* Excellent communication skills across diverse cultures and countries
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
* MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
