As a Development Engineer you will play a key role within Ventrica as we continue to grow and expand our professional and technical services. You will contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, passion, and excellence within your team and across the business.
Responsibilities
 * Solution Driven: Take a bold approach to build, configure and maintain complex contact centre solutions leveraging Amazon Connect and AWS Services.
 * Collaborate with stakeholders: Understand business needs and implement solutions within Amazon Connect.
 * Define technical project requirements: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the business.
 * Preparation and Administration: Prepare, update, and manage technical and business documentation.
 * Building Relationships: Establish and maintain professional, trusting relationships with clients, while effectively managing technical project materials.
What will I bring
 * Proven experience of Amazon Connect (Flows, Routing Profiles, Queues, Contact Profiles etc).
 * Strong knowledge in AWS Services such as Lambda, S3, Lex and CloudWatch.
 * Identify and resolve problems related to Connect functionality and third-party integrations.
 * Demonstrate a methodical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting, with the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
 * Ability to understand business processes and translate business requirements into application functionality. Must be able to effectively communicate with non-technical collaborators.
 * Strong personal workload management and organisational skills.
 * Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
Desirable
 * Contact Centre Experience
 * AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Amazon Connect Communications Specialist certification
 * Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or Java preferred)
 * Previous experience with Zendesk
