Your Role – Enhancing Mealtimes, Enriching Lives As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents. Working closely with our Chef, you’ll support all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring every mealtime is a positive and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities Meal Preparation: Assist with washing, peeling, chopping, and preparing fresh ingredients Cooking Support: Follow recipes and assist with cooking and presentation of meals Meal Service: Plate and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs and presentation standards are met Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in line with food safety regulations Stock Control: Help monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients, and support inventory checks Sandstone employees enjoy a range of benefits: Free uniform.
