Job Description:
? Sales Development Representative (SDR) | VC-Backed HR Tech Scale-Up
? Hybrid – London/Guildford | Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Bonus
We’re working with a high-growth, VC-funded B2B SaaS company that’s transforming how organisations manage their job structures, skills data, and workforce planning. Their AI-powered platform is already used by major global brands across the UK and US—and they’re now scaling fast.
To support this growth, they're looking for a proactive, motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their collaborative, mission-led sales team.
The Opportunity
As an SDR, you’ll be at the forefront of the sales team—generating qualified opportunities and starting conversations with forward-thinking companies. You’ll build a solid foundation in SaaS sales, working alongside experienced Account Executives while developing your own skills in outreach, qualification, and market research.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Researching target companies and key contacts using LinkedIn and other tools
* Reaching out to warm and cold leads through email, phone, and social media
* Qualifying prospects and asking the right questions to understand pain points
* Booking discovery calls and supporting sales reps in follow-up and handovers
* Keeping CRM (HubSpot) data clean, accurate, and up to date
* Supporting outbound campaigns and digital engagement initiatives
* Shadowing senior sales team members on calls to learn the ropes
* Representing the brand at the earliest stage of the customer journey with professionalism and enthusiasm
What You Need:
* Some experience in a customer-facing or support/admin role (B2B)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Confident and curious when speaking to new people over the phone or online
* Comfortable working toward goals and KPIs
* Fast learner with a proactive attitude toward feedback and improvement
* Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn and CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot)
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and driven by results
* Able to commute to London or Guildford as needed (especially during onboarding)
Bonus Points For:
* Enjoy researching companies and solving problems
* Love speaking with people and building relationships
* Are interested in the future of work, workforce planning, or HR tech
* Embrace the fast pace, variety, and creativity of a startup/scale-up environment
* Are naturally proactive, adaptable, and positive—even when things are a bit ambiguous
