We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our Southampton nursery.

As Nursery Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding in line with the EYFS statutory framework.
You will:
* Provide inspirational leadership to develop a motivated, high-performing team
* Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and oversee safeguarding policies and procedures
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
* Manage staff deployment, ratios, rotas, and performance
* Work in partnership with parents, carers, and external professionals
* Drive continuous quality improvement and positive outcomes for children
* Support business sustainability through effective occupancy, budgeting, and resource management
What We're Looking For
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential)
* Experience in an Early Years leadership role (Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar)
* Experience supporting or leading a regulatory inspection resulting in a Good or Outstanding outcome
* Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams
* Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation
* Confident decision-maker with the ability to balance quality care with operational and commercial awareness
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with families and colleagues
* Commitment to inclusive practice and high-quality early years education
