Equans is looking for an Apprentice Electrican to join our team on the HMCTS Contract based at the Law Courts in Newport. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 48 months on a full time basis working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and take the first step in building a rewarding career in electrical maintenance and installation. You will gain hands-on experience on-site while working towards your electrical qualifications, learning from our skilled Technical Operatives and Electrical Leads.
This role provides a unique opportunity to gain technical skills in a real-world environment, while also contributing to the delivery of high-quality electrical services across a variety of properties.
What will you deliver?
1. Actively engage in personal development and apprenticeship training
2. Assist with maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems
3. Learn to read and interpret design drawings, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
4. Take responsibility for company tools and ensure they are well maintained
5. Deliver services to the highest standards in line with Equans customer care values and policies

Who are you?
17. 5 GCSEs at Grade A-C including maths and English
18. Previous work experience
19. A passion for facilities management
20. Due to the nature of the contract, successful postholder must be able to obtain and maintain Security Vetting.
