Our client, a growing energy brokerage, is looking for an Energy Consultant to join their team. As the Energy Consultant, you will work with B2B clients to sell gas and electricity contracts through a full 360° sales cycle - this includes identifying potential prospects, generating your own leads, conducting cold calls, negotiating terms and successfully closing contracts. You will also advise clients on the energy market and provide competitive pricing. Key Responsibilities of the Energy Consultant:
1. Generate new business through cold calling, networking and other outreach efforts
2. Promote the company's products and services to B2B customers
3. Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
4. Advise clients on the energy market and provide competitive pricing
5. Consistently meet and exceed performance targets across various key metrics
6. Expand the client base while driving revenue growth effectively
Skills and experience required for the Energy Consultant:
7. Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in the energy industry, either with a broker or supplier
8. Proven sales and cold calling experience
9. Strong target orientation with a passion for exceeding goals and achieving success
10. Strong communication & negotiation skills
11. Ability to manage workload & meet targets
12. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven
13. Exceptional ability to build rapport quickly and secure commitment over the phone
14. Flexible and resilient, able to handle objections and work well under pressure.
