We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team in providing exceptional care to seniors in a home care setting. This role involves supervising care staff, developing care plans, and ensuring that all service users receive the highest standard of care.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and supervise a team of care staff, ensuring that all duties are performed to the highest standards.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
* Foster a positive and supportive environment for both service users and staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
* Conduct regular assessments of service user's needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with families regarding their loved ones' wellbeing.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the service.
* Provide training and support to new staff members, enhancing their skills in senior care practices.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in a senior care environment is essential, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of service users.
* Proven supervisory experience in a leadership role within a care setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective interaction with service users, families, and team members.
* Familiarity with IT systems used for record keeping and communication within the care sector is advantageous.
* A valid driving licence is required for this position to facilitate transportation needs within the role.
