Your Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the installation of mechanical elements on your assigned projects. Here’s what you can expect:
* Compliance First: Ensure all works meet Kier standards, UK law, and project requirements, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and statutory compliance.
* Collaborative Design: Work closely with design teams and clients to optimize designs for efficient, safe, and compliant construction.
* Project Management: Manage project controls including change, risk, opportunity, and quality assurance.
* Team Leadership: Lead and support project team members by setting clear expectations and fostering a collaborative environment.
* Timely Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered within agreed time frames and budgets, achieving successful outcomes aligned with commercial and quality targets.
* Record Keeping: Maintain necessary appointments and accurate records, demonstrating sound decision-making aligned with commercial priorities.
What We’re Looking For:
* You are technically astute in Mechanical Services and safety, holding a relevant industry-accredited qualification.
* CSCS and SMSTS accreditation is a must.
* Experience overseeing Mechanical Services installation on large-scale construction projects is highly desirable.
