Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client’s industry-leading organisation based in the Sittingbourne area. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of their accounts payable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the wider finance function.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the purchase ledger and ensure prompt supplier payments
* Accurately process invoices, purchase orders, and payments on time
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies quickly
* Prepare supplier payments and customer refunds
* Support month-end and year-end reconciliations and reporting
* Assist with accruals and ensure deadlines are met
* Manage shared inboxes, responding to invoices and queries promptly
Qualifications
* Some experience/ knowledge around the Purchase Ledger process
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
* Basic-intermediate Excel skills
