Role
You will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information, ensuring the robustness of data, reporting and internal processes. Working closely within a small finance team, this role suits a proactive, hands-on qualified accountant with strong attention to detail and a passion for improving systems and controls.
Requirements
AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
Strong financial reporting experience (hospitality experience desirable)
Experience with Sage & Intacct advantageous
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
Experience developing and maintaining financial controls and processes
Responsibilities
Produce monthly EBITDA reporting and dashboards with narrative and variance analysis
Manage accruals and prepayments to ensure accurate accounts
Quarterly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Produce quarterly management accounts per group entity
Weekly bank reconciliations to support cashflow forecasting
Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely posting and payment of invoices
Prepare quarterly VAT returns
Maintain, document and review financial controls and processes annually
Ensure accurate PMS ledger control with invoice raising & payment processing monthly
