Pertemps are recruiting for a Trainee NDT Technician on behalf of a leading testing company in the Dudley area. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a long-term career in Non-Destructive Testing within an accredited environment.
You will receive full training and development toward recognised certifications while supporting inspections on high-precision casting components.
Responsibilities
Assist with radiographic inspection activities alongside qualified Level 1 and 2 technicians
Help set up equipment, prepare components, and process digital or film radiographs
Follow strict safety procedures in line with internal radiation protection rules
Maintain accurate documentation and support calibration and traceability tasks
Contribute to a strong safety and quality culture
Skills & Qualifications
Interest in engineering, aerospace, manufacturing or NDT
Experience in a hands on manufacturing environment is beneficial
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
No previous NDT experience required — full training provided
Hours of work:
Rotating shift pattern
Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, rotating to:
Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
Salary:
£25,000, with view to increase once certified
