Are you a handson Finance Director with expertise in LongTerm Contract Accounting within a Manufacturing environment?
We're looking for an interim Finance Director to join our Finance Team on a contract basis.

This role is based onsite in Kempston, Bedfordshire. Full time preferable, but will consider applicants who can work 4 days per week.
Duties:
Supporting preparation of monthly management accounts, including rigorous analysis of costs and margins by project
Ensuring robust internal procedures and controls are in place so that cost and inventory data maintained by the business is reliable and accurate.
Supporting Month end reconciliations and general ledger entries.
P&L budgeting and forecasting
Cash management including provision of rolling forecasts and credit control.
Cashflow structuring including equipment finance, leases etc.
Overseeing preparation or regular tax filings such as the quarterly VAT return, US Sales Tax and P11d preparation
Management of corporate tax (UK and USA).
Oversight of cost estimate and invoice preparation plus establishment of rigorous cost and profitability analysis by customer job
Oversee management of, and accounting for, Fixed Assets
Manage Foreign currency dealing, administration and accounting
Reviewing cost centres for profitability.
Overseeing the Monthly payroll preparation and submission (including pensions) for both UK and US employees)
Liaising with auditors and assistance in the preparation of the annual financial statements.
Liaising with the bank, Companies House and Co Secretarial
Management of insurances, company cars and utility contracts for the business.
Management of general services to the property, electricity etc.
Keep up to date with R&D regulations and submissions.
Other finance work as required within the competence of the postholder.
Essential:
Qualified, ACCA/CIMA or equivalent (at least 5 years post qualification experience);
Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment focused on manufacturing product mix analysis, and familiarity with costing concepts, factory efficiencies and Bill of Material structures.
Experience with ERP systems (Epicor experience highly desirable).
Experience working closely with a multidisciplinary team across all functions (e.g. sales, procurement/production, stores, and factory).
Strong IT skills, with excellent knowledge of Excel.
