Our Client A global manufacturer of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, this company provides a wide range of high-quality power protection solutions, from 400 VA to several megawatts. With a presence in over 85 countries and a strong commitment to innovation and reliability, its products are widely used in critical sectors such as data centres, healthcare, finance, and telecommunications. Overview The Sales Manager will focus on generating new business and driving growth in the data centre sector. This role involves promoting the company’s UPS systems and diesel generators as the go-to solutions for mission-critical infrastructure. The BDM will build and maintain relationships with key players such as end users, design consultants, contractors, and colocation providers. Key Responsibilities And Activities Include New Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities in the data centre sector, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise clients. Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell. Serve as the main point of contact for key customers. Sales Execution: Achieve sales targets by executing strategies tailored to the data centre market. Contribute to sector-specific marketing efforts. Project Engagement: Track major data centre projects from planning to delivery. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project alignment. Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, end users, and procurement teams. Develop long-term engagement plans. Technical Collaboration: Understand customer needs and work with engineering teams to create customised UPS and generator solutions. Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activity to guide sales strategies. Proposal & Tender Support: Assist in tenders and proposals by working with pre-sales and technical teams on both commercial and technical submissions. CRM & Reporting: Keep client records, sales pipeline, and forecasts updated in the CRM. Provide regular updates and reports. KPIs: Performance goals as defined in your objectives Education And Experience Requirements Must be able to perform a technical sale. Experience with diesel generators. Knowledge of Deep Sea and ComAp controllers is highly desirable. Experience selling to contractors and consultants. Must be able to commute to one of the company offices. INTERESTED?
