About The Role

Please note: This role is a fixed-term contract until May 2026 to cover maternity leave.
As a Nursery Nurse, you will create an exciting and diverse activity program while providing a safe, supportive, and caring environment. Your role will ensure that every aspect of each child's development is nurtured, all while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
This position covers Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 18:00.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining and following all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Being proactive in activity planning, child observation, and maintaining development records.
* Upholding confidentiality regarding all matters related to children, their families, and the business.
* Supporting the day-to-day care of children’s routines.
This role involves caring for children aged 6 months to 4 years in a vibrant nursery setting.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare with a solid understanding of the EYFS.
* Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
* Experience working with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Experience in a busy day nursery environment.
* Strong communication skills.
* A problem-solving attitude.
* Confidence to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
* Ability to relate to a diverse range of people.
