Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Trauma Resilience Hub Team, based at Devon and Cornwall Sexual Assault Referral Centre's. We are looking for a specialist social worker to support adults who have complex mental health related needs following rape and sexual assault. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of Forensic Doctors and Nurses, Specialist Safeguarding Nurse, Trauma Stabilisation Workers and a Clinical Psychologist, to support some of the most vulnerable adults within our communities to access the services to support recovery.

The Trauma Resilience Hub is part of the newly commissioned community service for adults who have experienced sexual harm. The Hub will support the voluntary sector in their work with people who have been raped or sexually assaulted, providing case consultation and supervision to colleagues directly delivering therapeutic interventions across Devon and Cornwall. The Specialist Social Worker role will work closely with our Clinical Psychologist, advocating on behalf of patients within professional meetings and supporting the strategic development of pathways with secondary mental health providers. This role requires someone who is creative in their approach to supporting adults with multiple complexities and can think outside the box, providing specialist advice and guidance to other professionals within the sexual violence and mental health sectors.
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week. 4 days a week between Monday - Friday
