Private international asset management group is seeking an experienced and driven IT professional to join our UK based team. This individual will responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of technology systems. This includes entertainment, automation, IT, and satellite communication systems to ensure seamless operation across a variety of asset classes around the world.
We are looking for someone proficient with IT concepts, practices, and procedures to perform a variety of tasks that will include the following:
Qualifications and Skills:
* A strong understanding of electronics, audio-visual systems, computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems is essential.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
* Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical users.
* Able to manage and implement IT projects effectively.
* Able to travel freely between UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, Japan and UAE
* Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Providing day-to-day support to users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of IT/AV systems.
Maintenance and Operation: Daily upkeep and operation of all electronic, computer, audio/visual, network and communication equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues with various systems, ensuring minimal downtime. Diagnosing and resolving problems with hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems.
System Management: Managing and maintaining interior automation, entertainment systems, IT infrastructure, and satellite communication systems.
Managing user accounts and access: Creating and managing user accounts, assigning permissions, and ensuring appropriate access to IT resources.
Project Implementation: Assisting with the implementation of new IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Security: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect IT systems and data.
Training and Documentation: Providing training to users on new technologies and maintaining documentation for IT systems and procedures.
Working with vendors: Coordinating with vendors for hardware and software support, upgrades, and maintenance.
Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of new technologies and advancements in the field.
