Chef - St Barnabas Hospice, Whiteoaks (Worthing) £16 per hour Saturdays & Sundays, 8am-2pm St Barnabas Hospice is looking for a passionate and talented Chef to join our welcoming team at St Barnabas Hospice. You’ll be preparing fresh, nutritious lunches for our residents, creating meals that make a real difference to their day. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing delicious, high‑quality meals that delight our residents Overseeing and implementing menu changes Identifying opportunities to improve the food service Listening and responding to resident and customer feedback Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food ideas Representing Healthcare with a positive and professional attitude Monitoring stock and ensuring the kitchen stays well‑supplied Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and overseeing kitchen cleanliness Ensuring full compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for great‑tasting food and exceptional service City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent Experience supervising a team Previous experience in a similar Chef role A valid Food Hygiene certificate A flexible, positive, can‑do attitude
