How the role will make an impact:
As an SAP LE/SD specialist, you will align technology with business strategy.
You will work directly with internal clients to gather requirements, analyse, design and implement best practices and business solutions.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Understanding and documenting the functional and technical requirements.
* Process analysis, design/redesign for mapping the execution of logistics processes.
* Build, test and deploy SAP best practices and improve business processes in the areas of Logistics, Sales and Supply Chain.
* Manage tickets, lead tasks and projects to ensure the project's success is obtained and support the SAP users of the entire Quanex International division.
* Supporting warehouse operations by running the WM solution adopted since being the main IT platform supporting the business distributing our products.
* Some travel to our Carlisle site as and when needed to offer business support.
Key Skills:
* Proven experience in SAP implementation projects.
* Strong business process understanding in logistics modules and intercompany processes.
* Hands-on expertise (customisation or configuration) on the core functions of Logistics Execution, nearly always focuses on complex goods receipt and goods issue processes.
* General understanding of Integration with Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning.
* Problem-solving skills to identify, analyse and assist in solving business application problems in an ERP environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* The ability to make a difference.
* Self-driven.
