Job Title – Avid MAM (Media Asset Management) Technical Consultant

Required Skills & Experience:
* Mandatory: Strong hands-on expertise with Avid MAM (Media Asset Management).
* Experience with AWS S3 services and cloud-based migration workflows.
* Familiarity with Google Cloud Storage (GCS) or other cloud storage platforms.
* Knowledge of metadata migration processes and workflow automation.
* Ability to design scalable, reliable, and efficient migration workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Background in media & broadcast technology environments.
* Familiarity with Mimir ingestion pipelines.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source Data Preparation
* Export and prepare media assets and metadata from Avid MAM for migration.
* Organize source data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Metadata Migration
* Extract, enrich, and validate metadata from Avid MAM systems.
* Ensure metadata integrity and linkage between media objects and assignments.
* Normalize metadata for compatibility with downstream ingestion workflows.
* Media Migration
* Execute migration workflows to transfer media assets from AWS S3 archives to cloud-based processing environments.
* Validate successful transfers and troubleshoot issues during migration.
* Cloud Integration
* Support ingestion workflows within Mimir to process assets, generate proxies, and archive content into Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration file transfer platform.
