Tradewind is currently working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Northampton, looking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated Music Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in October 2025. For the right candidate, there is a strong opportunity for the role to become permanent.

The Role:
1. Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience
2. Deliver engaging and practical lessons that combine music theory, performance, and appreciation
3. Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum, supporting progress for all learners
4. Contribute to the school's extra-curricular music provision - choirs, bands, ensembles, or school productions
5. Foster a classroom culture that nurtures creativity, collaboration, and confidence
What We're Looking For:
6. A qualified Music Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
7. Strong subject knowledge across a range of musical styles and instruments
8. A confident and adaptable teacher who can inspire students of varying abilities
9. Someone who values inclusive practice and champions the role of the arts in education
10. An enthusiastic team player willing to engage in wider school life and musical events
