Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation of statutory and management accounts, ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Oversee the audit process as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
* Champion process improvements to strengthen controls, accuracy, and efficiency across finance.
* Support tax compliance and planning to meet legislative requirements.
* Conduct thorough balance sheet reviews and resolve variances.
* Ensure correct revenue recognition and reporting across multiple business units.
* Produce comprehensive reporting packs and deliver clear analysis for senior leadership and the board.
* Lead the consolidation of management accounts and oversee cash flow forecasting.
* Own quarterly VAT submissions and maintain an accurate fixed asset register.

About You:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong technical and reporting expertise.
* Experienced in financial controls, audit, and compliance.
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
