Senior Talent Consultant

Contract: Permanent
Pay - £52,584 per annum
The London Borough of Havering is looking to recruit a Senior Talent Consultant to support the Talent Manager in designing and delivering high-quality solutions across all aspects of talent management: attraction, identification, development, engagement, and deployment. The goal is to ensure future workforce needs are addressed by employing the right number of people with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time, balancing strategic and operational support for stakeholders.
If successful in your application for the role of Senior Talent Consultant, you will/will be:
* Deputise for the Head of Talent, as required.
* Support the Talent team to provide high-quality solutions that enable the delivery of the talent strategy. This includes responsibility for projects and activities related to workforce planning, resourcing, building talent pools, succession planning, career management, and employee engagement.
* Lead the development and maintenance of policies, guidance, and procedures to enable managers to carry out their people management responsibilities related to talent management.
* Implement talent strategies by providing up-to-date advice and guidance that positively influences the employee experience.
* Ensure all process and administrative requirements are met, activities are completed on time, and relevant records are maintained in line with service requirements.
* Manage the development and delivery of talent activities in areas such as attracting talent (employer branding and employee value proposition), resourcing talent (executive recruitment, temporary/interim solutions, internal redeployment), and identifying talent (workforce and succession planning).
