Key Responsibilities
* Customer-Centric Service: Deliver an excellent, high-profile Development Management Service focused on meeting the needs of service users.
* Planning Applications: Process planning applications, manage appeals, and address customer complaints, providing expert advice to officers, councillors, and developers.
* Training & Development: Stay current with the planning system through continuous training, ensuring your skills and knowledge are top-notch.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to improve service quality and tackle local challenges innovatively.
* Performance Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and promote a positive image of Hounslow.
What We're Looking For
* Planning Expertise: Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and practises.
* Advising Skills: Ability to provide sound technical and professional advice to councillors and management.
* Project Management: Experience in leading complex applications and negotiating effectively with stakeholders.
