Your role
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for bridging the gap between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT)? If so, then this exciting opportunity for an OT/IT Solution Architect might be perfect for you!
In this role you will play a key role in:
* Designing and architect integrated OT solutions, utilizing technologies like Digital Twins, IoT applications, and Industrial Protocols (OPC UA, MQTT)
* Select and configure appropriate Azure or AWS services based on project requirements
* Develop and implement Python scripts and Virtual Machines to automate tasks and optimize processes
* Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments (Engineering, Operations, OT, IT) to understand business needs and ensure technical solutions align with strategic goals
* Stay current with the latest advancements in OT/IT convergence and emerging technologies
Your profile
* Strong experience of performing a solution architecture role within an engineering, OT, manufacturing or telecommunications environment
* Strong knowledge and application of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, analytics, AR/VR, asset tracking solutions, cyber security, digital twins, digital control towers etc.
* Technically leading complex projects throughout their complete lifecycle from requirements capture to handover and knowledge transfer
* Experience of working within a large-scale organisation, able to work as part of a team, excellent organisations and time keeping skills, strong written and verbal skills
* Experience in business transformation projects
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Strong understanding of Industrial Automation and control systems
* Expertise in OT network protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, OPC UA, MQTT)
* Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
