Your new role
The role will be from 19th March - 1st May 2026 (Initially) (the school is closed over Easter 02/04-17/04)

As Interim IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering efficient, secure and effective ICT services across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing 1st and 2nd line to staff and students
2. Supporting and implementing ICT projects that modernise and improve technology across the school.
3. Supporting teaching and learning in classrooms during lessons.
4. Promoting safe and innovative ICT use for students and staff, including online safety and appropriate use of social media.
5. Procuring, installing and managing educational and office software and hardware.
6. Working with the Star Central ICT Team to maintain effective ICT services.
7. Ensuring regular data back-ups and supporting recovery when needed.
8. Conducting network housekeeping to maintain storage capacity.
