Grounds Maintenance Operative – Torquay, Torquay
Our client requires Grounds Maintenance Operatives to carry out tasks such as strimming, hard and soft landscaping. Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities including grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and more.
What we are looking for:
* Experience within the grounds maintenance industry (preferred)
* Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers, etc.)
* Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions
* Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment
* Good understanding of health and safety
* Ideally, have a full, clean driving license
* Understand and value teamwork
* Reliable and conscientious with a can-do attitude
* A willingness to learn
* Ability to work on one's own initiative
* CSCS card
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday, with some weekend overtime available at premium rates.
Rate of Pay:
* These are PAYE positions, so you will benefit from accrued holiday pay from day one
* Weekly pay
* No umbrella payments or fees
* Only tax and National Insurance deductions, which will be shown on your payslip
This is a temporary role, but there is a possibility it could become permanent in the future.
