Join to apply for the One Stop - Customer Service Assistant role at One Stop Stores Ltd. We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be working in a fast paced retail environment where no day is the same.
You will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of our store activities by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the store’s appearance. The customer is at the heart of everything we do, and you will be constantly looking for ways to improve service in your store through on-the-job coaching and feedback. With your guidance, your store will always remain a safe place to work and shop.
Post Office Local (where applicable) If this store has a Post Office Local, duties include day-to-day post office operations and a background check which must be passed to proceed with this role.
Responsibilities
* I know my customers and serve them with passion and pride, delivering great natural service.
* Actively encourage customers to provide feedback on their shopping trip through the “have your say” survey.
* Work across all areas of the store including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines to ensure tasks meet customer needs.
* Apply training to ensure we work safely and follow procedures.
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, helping create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Understand store performance and the part you play in delivering profit.
* Follow company values, be inclusive, follow policies, and create a welcoming environment for colleagues and customers.
* Clock in and out at the start and end of shifts to ensure accurate pay.
* Keep yourself, colleagues and customers safe by following security procedures and using safety equipment where available.
* Follow the Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
* Respond quickly to assistance calls or interventions on self-service checkouts and explain actions to customers.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and organised store with clear aisles.
* May be required to run the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader or Store Manager.
* Follow all training to keep the team safe and compliant.
