Mechanical Technician – Southampton (Permanent)
Our client, who are based in Southampton and are a global leader in flow control solutions, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician whose responsibility is rotating equipment maintenance activities as directed by the responsible engineer. This will be consisting of removal, dismantle, inspect, repair, re-build and commission of rotating equipment - both corrective and preventative. You would be working closely within the team to deliver the highest quality of repair on time, to budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To ensure customer satisfaction by achieving delivery targets on time and minimizing customer complaints and rework activities.
2. Carry out duties in full compliance with and customer HSEQ procedures, including compliance with key safety values & be proactive in reporting and resolving any concerns, participate in investigation & reporting of accidents & incidents.
3. Work with Supervisor/Manager to ensure accurate and on-time completion of equipment repairs and completing strip down reports, assembly re-build records and test requirements to meet daily, weekly or monthly work schedule.
