Must Have’s
* 4+ years' experience in finance or accounting roles
* Proven responsibility for preparing management accounts and financial processes
* Strong understanding of payroll support and VAT returns
* Solid grasp of prepayments, accruals, and bank reconciliations
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
Nice to Have’s
* Hands-on experience using Xero accounting software
* Experience supporting audit processes and maintaining company registers
* Familiarity with financial setup for new entities (HMRC, ledgers, banking)
* Experience working across multiple legal entities or business divisions
So, what will you be doing?
* Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports
* Maintain up-to-date, accurate financial records including AP/AR
* Process journal entries including prepayments and accruals
* Manage inter-company invoicing, loan accounts, and recharging
* Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any financial discrepancies
* Assist in preparing VAT returns and support monthly payroll functions
* Support financial onboarding of new business entities
